武蔵一宮氷川神社 参道樹木改修
２千年以上の歴史を持ち、荒川流域にある約２００の氷川神社の総本社である、武蔵一宮氷川神社。何百年と変わることの無かった、この日本一長い参道の景色を、時代の変化とともに新しい風景を生み出して欲しい、と権宮司より依頼を受けた。長期に渡る打ち合わせと熟慮の末、モミジやマンサク、特別なヤマツツジなどを新たに多数植樹し、歴史ある既存の樹木群の中に多くの彩りを加え、新しい風景を作り出す事に成功した。現在では地元はもとより、神社の新たな造園計画として、多くの注目を集めている。
With more than 2000 years of history, Musashi Ichinomiya Hikawa Shrine is the main shrine of approximately 200 Hikawa shrines in the Arakawa valley. It is famous for having the longest path leading to the shrine in Japan, and its scenery has not changed for hundreds of years. After a lot of conversation and consultation, at the request of gonguji, the assistant chief of the shrine, we added many kinds of trees such as Japanese maple, Loropetalum, and rhododendron to create a path that changes face with time. Since then, it has received a lot of attention not only locally, but also from other areas.
